"One and One" Foundation has the experience of 11 years of activity, since it has produced and distributed cooked food at the social canteen in Sector 4, Sfânta Ecaterina street Nr. 2, for about 150 people daily.

The social reality generated by the pandemic of coronavirus requires the urgent need to find forecastable solutions to avoid an acute social crisis due to poverty and especially malnutrition.

“One and One” Foundation has a free industrial space of approx. 400 m.p., powered by (380 V) electricity, methane gas, running water and sewerage, in Drăgănescu village, Mihăilești City, Jud. Giurgiu; only 16 km from Bucharest.

In order to be authorized to operate as a "FOOD FACTORY", this space requires, however, renovation valued at approx. 25,000 euros.

We have the possibility to equip this space with the necessary equipment coming from the restaurants that have closed their activity due to the restrictions (no one can estimate how long they will last due to the States of "Emergency" or "Alert").

We are confident that, after acquiring the required funds, the "Food Factory" could be put into operation in about 100 days.

This goal will be able to provide between 500 and 1000 hot meals each day.

The food will be distributed free of charge, for large (poor) families and for the elderly with small pensions, in the locations provided by the town halls.

We initiate here the challenge for all restaurant owners who want to join us in any form.

You can produce food with us: one part of the operations to be sold on the market and the other to be distributed free of charge to the poor. You can support us with equipment, cold rooms, etc., or you can recommend us experienced chefs, who have been laid off, willing to help us for a good start to this experience.
